Hi Friends and Family,
Yes I am fully aware of how long it has been since I last blogged so, I will do my best to play catch up. Great things have happened since the beginning of December when I last blogged. Let me fill you in.
1st - Ryan and I are officially on board to have kids the end of this month. Anyone who knows our story knows we have had to take extra measure to accomplish this. So, we are doing a version of invitro (not the expensive one, LOL) if all goes well it will happen the end of this month, and by the end of this year we could be parents, YES!)
2nd - Ryan’s contract with Apple ended a month early this month; this was a bit stressful at first. Ryan had been working for them for the last several months doing tech support and he really enjoyed it. He is pending a phone call for a new contract possible permanent position. This is a huge prayer request, this would really financially help us..
3rd - My health has been amazing! With the wild and crazy year I have had it has been a huge answered prayer that my migraines and my MG have pretty much vanished! When I visited my neuromuscular doctor last month he stated he no longer believes I have MG. The problems and the symptoms of MG has faded away as erased on a white board. Now, let me set the record straight. I still have a wandering eye and a bit of an lazy eye but it seems to be improving more everyday. The doctor thinks my problem with my right eye can easily be corrected with surgery. Can I get a Hip Hip Hurray? He has referred me to a wonderful eye surgeon that I love. Ryan and I have a decision and a lot of prayer with this choice though. We do not know if I should do this pre-baby or post. No decision has been made yet. In conjunction with that great news I have completely been taken off my IVIG treatments that I have lived with for the past year. No more IV's, harsh pain meds or other drugs. Now, I still have my port and have to get it flushed once a month but that is nothing compared to the two times a month at 8 hours a day of being hooked up to an IV pump. Then to add to that as many of you know the 3 three days following I had to walk on egg shells to avoid the emergency room due to horrible migraines. I am thrilled and feel more energetic then ever. God has really laid his hand of blessing over Ryan and I. I am proud to say that I am back to being able to run which I have always loved, thought not difficult, I love it the same. Now I can't run like I did in 05 but I am slowly getting there. Time is on my side.
Christmas came and went and it was filled with blessings. Ryan had to work the holiday so no traveling for us. We stayed here and spent the Holiday with my family. Even though this was the year we where supposed to be with the Busboom's in CA. We have so much catching up to do. We have been lucky with family coming out twice to visit. In fact my sister in-law is in town as we speak now with the girls Ellie and Ava. Amy (my sister in-law) and her husband got tickets to the Cardinals game, which brings me to the 4th best thing that has happened.
4th - The Cardinals won the NFC's championship against the Eagles and are going to Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay. The Cardinals are facing off against the Pittsburgh Steelers. YEAH! How I wish I could be at the game. Yes ladies and gentlemen I am not a fair weather fan, though the Cardinals have not been good I have been here. Honestly probably not as loyal but still here. So, I am thrilled they have beat the curse and after 61 years got a championship under there belt once again!
So, friends and family it has been an amazing period of my life and every day it truly gets better. I have been able to keep in contact with old friends stay in contact with current friends, stay close to family and just really truly feel what genuine love is not only by those I love but by God. I have had so many true blessings that it is quite overwhelming. He never seems to disappoint me, valleys or peaks I know He is there and I feel Him with me. How lucky I am!
Loved ones, I hope this finds you well!
Smiles,
DB
