Friends and Family,
Today is an important day! Ryan and I have been given the hope of possibly becoming parents. See my best friend Jennifer of 23 years sister in-law is pregnant at 18 with child #2. The family is all encouraging her to place the baby up for adoption and consider Ryan and I for the parents. This is a huge commitment. Marilyn is afraid of giving up a child and the fear of loosing her support system of her family.
Ryan and I ask this of you please, to pray these two things. 1st and foremost that this is God's will, that if it's not His will that doors will close. 2nd that God can soften Marilyn's heart and prepare it if His will if it is adoption.
We know there is a lot of emotions that go with a choice like this and we do not want to make any choice in haste. Please also pray for Ryan and I. That we can be level headed and full of God's wisdom during this time. More then ever Ryan and I want to be parents and we feel no timing is better then God's and that is what we are hoping this is.
The family is a meeting to discuss the options with Marilyn this evening. Please join with us in prayer that God will work through the family and through Marilyn. That if adoption is considered and Ryan and I not the choice that another couple can be blessed through this. So many things so far have already gone right I am just praying it continues to happen. Thank you again.
